At the very first startup, Asutype creates a folder in your local AppData location, under the sub-folder "Fanix\Asutype\" and uses this folder as its data folder to keep its working files.
The following files are kept in the data folder:

The following files can be anywhere:

*.spelling | A spelling dictionary used by the spell check engine to
determine whether a word is correct or not. You can create as many dictionary files as you want and the file can be anywhere in your system, including in a network drive. |
To edit a spelling dictionary, use the Dictionary Editor. |
*.correction | A correction list used by Asutype to
automatically correct recognized mistakes. You can create as many correction lists as you want and the file can be anywhere in your system, including in a network drive. |
To edit a correction list, use the Correction Editor. |
*.shortcut | A text shortcut list used by Asutype's text expansion engine to
speed up typing repetitive texts as well as to automate common tasks. You can create as many shortcut lists as you want and the file can be anywhere in your system, including in a network drive. |
To edit a shortcut list, use the Shortcut Editor. |
Note:
The *.spelling, *.correction and *.shortcut files are sharing-safe and can be used by multiple users at the same time.
